Hi,

I just installed Asterisk on a Dell 400SC running Redhat Fedora RC2. Although I extensively read the sample configuration files and online documentation, I am still having problems simply configuring a softphone (diax) to accept incoming calls. Does anyone have a very very simple sample single-phone-line, no-voice-mail, no-additional extenstions iax.conf and extensions.conf that I could look at?

Much appreciated,

Jerry

Hiya,
as a quick thought - does asterisk realise that you have an incoming call?

Is the call coming in over SIP or IAX?

If its SIP - do you have the ports opened on your firewall/gateway or a SIP aware firewall.

Can YOU dial out to anyone (or even dial yourself)?
